When I make a reservation, am I obliged to pay

Where I can take the car from?

You can choose the place, at the airport, hotel or you can take it from Rentexpert rent a car. For Bucharest city limits, the delivery is free between 09:00 and 21:00.

 Why you have to pay the delivery or the handing over of the car outside Bucharest?

Rentexpert rent a car has its office in Bucharest, so the delivery and the handing over of the car outside the city limits come with additional costs.

 Is there a limit of kilometers driven with rented cars from Rentexpert?

Rentexpert Company offers cars for rent without a limit of kilometers. Our clients can drive unlimited kilometers with a car rented from us.

 Do the cars from Rentexpert have the sign at sight?

 What car do I choose?

When choosing a car you will have to take in consideration the time that you will spend in the car, the space for passengers and luggage. The final price of the rent a car service is calculated in € and after that it is converted in RON at the rate of exchange of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) at the day when the payment is done + 2%. If the payment is done with credit card we will keep a fee of 2% for VISA or Master Card and 4% for American Express.

 Can I benefit of a baby seat?

  In Romania, any child with the age under 3 years will have to be insured into a special seat for children. Rentexpert rent a car offers this service as the same time with the car rental for an extra cost. Rentexpert rent a car doesn’t offer chairs for babies or seats for vertical positioning.

What type of driving license is needed to rent a car?

 To benefit of car rental services from Rentexpert rent a car, all of our clients have to possess driving license issued by the country where they live. The driving license must have at least 1 year old (3 in the case of the superior type cars). The driving license has also to be valid and to stay valid for all the period mentioned in the car rental contract. If the driving license is not in English, French, German or Italian, you will have to show an international driving license (IDP). The IDP will be associated with the driving license.

If you don’t obtain the agreement from Rentexpert rent a car, the car will be delivered or taken over just in this period of time and not succeeding the hour written in the car rental contract.
